The soul of the city

Sundbåten transport people between the four islands in Kristiansund, and have been in use since 1876.

Sundbåten is of historical importance to the city, and the people of Kristiansund chose to make it a cultural heritage monument in 1997.

The islands - what to see

At Innlandet you will find a lot of old homes dating back to 1700 and 1800 hundred. Nordlandet church has a nice viewpoint. At Gomalandet you will find old shipyards, warehouses and in the summer the Klippfishmuseum is open. Kirkelandet is the main island with shops and "down town", Kirkelandet church and Vanndamman for nice walks.
